about raskl.
Founded in 2021, raskl. combines the growing need to reuse materials with the artistry of printmaker Pascale Jarvis’ hand-carved linoleum blocks. Garments and textiles are gently used and thrifted locally in Western Massachusetts before they’re given a fresh start. The imagery of each print demonstrates deep connection to place by depicting the plants and creatures Pascale encounters around their most favorite habitat: the little farmhouse where they live on the foot of Mt. Tom. Their pieces are a love letter to a forever-evolving landscape, a way to literally wear it on one's back.
